Event: Fashion Show for Up-and-Coming Designers
- Entry & Participation
- Entry fee for designers is £249.00 and is non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by the organiser.
- Designers must submit their entries by the deadline specified on the event website.
- Submissions will be judged by a panel of professionals; the top 20 designers in each category will be invited to showcase their designs on the runway.
- Designs must be the original work of the entrant. Plagiarism or copyright infringement will result in disqualification.
- Selected entrants must provide garments ready for the runway show, including any required fittings or alterations.
- Ticket Sales
- Tickets for the fashion show are non-refundable, including in cases of non-attendance or personal schedule conflicts.
- All ticket holders are entitled to attend the event and the post-show buffet.
- Dietary requirements will be taken into account where possible, but we cannot guarantee the absence of allergens.
- Allergies or medical conditions must be disclosed in writing to the organiser at least 7 days prior to the event. The organiser cannot accept responsibility for incidents arising from unreported conditions.
- Intellectual Property
- By entering the competition, designers retain ownership of their work but grant the organiser the right to display, photograph, and promote designs during and after the event for promotional purposes.
- No commercial rights are transferred without a separate written agreement.
- Event Changes or Cancellation
- LINKUP-SMARTGB reserves the right to amend the event schedule, venue, or format. In the unlikely event of full cancellation, affected parties will be notified and refunded where applicable.
- We are not liable for delays or disruptions caused by circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions).
- Code of Conduct
- All attendees and participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully.
- Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will result in removal from the event without refund.
- Liability
- The organiser accepts no liability for loss, damage, or theft of personal property at the event.
- Participation in the fashion show is at your own risk. The organiser will not be liable for injury, illness, or any incident arising from failure to disclose relevant medical information or allergies.
- Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Northern Ireland and the United Kingdom. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
